Menabytes reported in an article on Thursday that members of the Facebook group, which has now been re-branded as RiseUp Connect, will now get more exposure to the entrepreneurship community, access to business resources and events.
In addition, members of the group will also benefit from mentorship sesssions, discounts and offers.
RiseUp CEO and founder Abdelhameed Sharara told Menabytes his organisation and StarterHub shared the same values and vision.
Muhamed will stay on at RiseUp Connect and will now assume the role of startup community manager.
Ventureburn sought comment from RiseUp on how much it acquired StarterHub for but had not received a response by the time of publication.
