This week Africa’s tech startup community will join the world in celebrating Global Entrepreneurship Week (GEW), so look out for GEW themed events between 18 and 24 November.
Cape Town’s LawTech community takes place tomorrow in the city centre. Later, on Saturday and Sunday (23 and 24 November), the US embassy will host a Gender Violence hackathon at the V&A Waterfront.

In Johannesburg, Impact Hub Rosebank will host a Startup State of the Nation Address (Startup SONA) event on Thursday and Friday (21 and 22 November).
Elsewhere around the continent, Ethiopia will host the Africa Fintech Summit in Addis Ababa on Thursday (21 November).
