German investment firm GreenTec Capital Partners has invested an undisclosed amount in Moroccan tech startup Kwiks, a digital platform that specialises in rapid personnel sourcing.
The investment firm revealed it had invested in the startup in an announcement last Wednesday (19 February)

Kiwiks was founded in 2013 by Amine Khayatei Houssani (pictured above) in Casablanca and Greentec said the company operates in Morocco, France, and Belgium.
“Kwiks’s extensive database of talent and innovative web and mobile application, allows the company to deliver qualified candidates in IT, consulting, CRW, and finance (among others) to employers in need,” Greentec said in the announcement.

It said the company plans to expand its reach in Africa and diversify from its Francophone niche by to included Anglophone candidates addressing a major problem for African companies to source talented personnel.
“GreenTec Capital is very impressed with the Kwiks team and similarly with the Moroccan and North African start-up ecosystem. While this is our first deal in the region, it is not likely to be our last,” the investment company said.
