The tech startup industry is mourning the sudden and tragic loss of pioneering tech entrepreneur, Fahim Saleh.
The dismembered body of renowned tech entrepreneur, Fahim Saleh was found in a New York apartment on 14 July, according to reports by the New York Times.

Although the police have not released an official statement on Saleh’s death, a tweet shared by Gokada has confirmed the devastating news.

The 33-year-old tech entrepreneur was found decapitated with parts of his body spread around the apartment according to US media reports. Further reports indicate that an electric saw was found nearby to the deceased’s body.
Law officials shared with the New York Post that ”some effort had been made to clean up any evidence of what had happened” as plastic bags were found scattered in the apartment.

Known in the startup sector for his work done in both Bangladesh and Nigeria, Saleh founded Godaka, a Nigerian based motorcycle ride-hailing startup and co-founded Bangladesh ride company Pathao.
In a social media statement, Pathao shared that Saleh was an inspiration to all the employee’s.
“Fahim believed in the potential for technology to transform lives in Bangladesh and beyond. He saw the promise in us, when all we had was a common purpose and a shared vision. He was, and will forever remain, an incredible inspiration for Pathao and our entire ecosystem.”
