Top startup web events in South Africa this week [13/07/2020]

On Friday (17 July), CEO of Transaction Capital, David Hurwitz alongside Head of Commercial Banking at Standard Bank, Craig Polkinghorne, and Divisional Executive for Venture Capital and Corporate Finance at the National Empowerment Fund, Hlengiwe Makhathini will present their strategies on how to finance your business beyond relief funding.

Creativity, Innovation, and Leadership

Professor Eugene Cloete, Vice-Rector for Research, Innovation, and Postgraduate Studies at the University of Stellenbosch will be presenting as part of the collaborations series in partnership with LaunchLab and the Stellenbosch Network Business Lecture Series. This series is titled ‘Creativity, Innovation, and Leadership’.

Lessons from small and medium enterprises

WorkInProgress (WIP), an Absa innovation lab, will be hosting a webinar series titled Wise-Up Wednesday Sessions. This week, CEO of DORP, Nick Dreyer shares his lockdown pivot tales of Veldskoeno and the creation of the DORP agency to assist startups in getting online.
