Workshop17, a local workspace solutions provider and proudly South African startup has secured the position of a finalist in the Global Startup Awards category for Best Co-Working space.

The local startup will go head-to-head with five other inspiring startup workspace solution providers for the title.

The awards
The renowned awards take place every two years and it aims to recognize selected innovative and forward-thinking startups in a range of industries. Each selected winner is recognized for their consistent achievements in service and business.
This year’s finale will take place virtually on 27 January 2021. Members of the public are encouraged to cast their vote for their chosen finalist. Public voting is open until 21 January 2021.
The future of work
The Covid-19 pandemic has highlighted the need for working spaces and the rise of remote working in South Africa has resulted in the expansion of Workshop17’s spaces. The local startup plans to open a new co-working space in Rosebank, Johannesburg.
The new addition to its operating locations makes it the sixth Wokrshop17 hub for locals to use.
“Our vision is to support South Africans to be more productive wherever they are by providing the necessary physical and digital resources. To meet the moment, our catalogue boasts physical and virtual offices, boardrooms, hospitality services, as well as enterprise technology solutions and solutions for workspaces in the home,” Keursten concludes.
