The E-Track Programme, run by the UCT Graduate School of Business (GSB), is looking for applicants for its fifth cohort of African startups.

Run in partnership with instant messaging platform ayoba, the programme aims to help individuals and teams build scalable businesses with global potential.
Applications close on 27 September.
“The ayoba platform represents an opportunity for homegrown talent to develop applications that reflect local cultures and values and that address challenges in our markets, while benefiting the broader community,” Head of Business and Ecosystem Development at ayoba, Eero Tarjanne, said in a statement.
“Ayoba is delighted to partner with UCT GSB and the E-Track Programme to help support the entrepreneurial spirit and the scaling up of the teams’ solutions across the continent.”
E-Track Programme details
The Programme is open to both aspiring entrepreneurs and established business founders.
Split into three phases, the E-Track Programme aims to assist startups to develop their products and services. At the same time, it will assist them to launch in their respective markets.
The first phase, the Venture Launch online course, will focus on validating participants’ venture concepts. The course will take place across five weeks.
The course is a prerequisite for businesses to proceed to the next phases of the programme.
The second phase, a 12-week Venture Exploitation course, will focus on helping participants accelerate the development of their ventures.
The third and final phase, the 12-week Venture Scaling course, will see the ventures receive support from ecosystem partners and investors.
