Fawry, the leading e-payments solutions and banking services provider in Egypt, has partnered with Syrve, an all-in-one restaurant management system, to introduce a seamless payments system and automated checkout experience to the food and beverage sector in Egypt.

This partnership was announced at the Cafex Expo currently underway at the Egypt International Exhibition Centre in New Cairo.

Syrve, with a presence in 44 countries worldwide, offers a comprehensive restaurant management system that caters to the specific needs of individual establishments, including managing tables, stocks, staff, and payments.

By collaborating with Fawry, Syrve will now extend its services to Egypt and the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region, while Fawry will expand its market reach and deliver greater value to customers.

Heba El Awady, the chief business officer of Fawry, expressed her excitement about partnering with Syrve and bringing together their unique expertise and resources to serve their customers better in the F&B industry.

Alexander Ponomarev, the chief operating officer of Syrve, added that this partnership is a significant milestone for the company, and they see tremendous potential in working with Fawry to create value for their customers in Egypt and the rest of the MENA region.

Under the terms of the partnership, Fawry and Syrve will collaborate on a range of initiatives, including joint product development, cross-promotion of their respective offerings, and the integration of their technologies and platforms. The partnership will also involve joint marketing and sales efforts to reach new audiences and expand market share.

With a network of 36 member banks, its mobile platform, and more than 280 000 agents, Fawry processes an average of four million transactions per day, serving an estimated customer base of more than 39 million users monthly.

The partnership with Syrve will further enhance Fawry’s position as the largest e-payment platform in Egypt, serving both the banked and unbanked population with a wide range of digital services, including electronic bill payments, mobile top-ups, e-ticketing, cable TV, and various other services.

Meanwhile, Syrve’s cutting-edge technology solutions for the F&B industry cover all parts of restaurant operations, starting from point-of-sale (POS) and front-of-house features to stock keeping and forecasting. With its global presence, Syrve has already served thousands of restaurants worldwide and is now poised to offer its services to a broader customer base in Egypt and the MENA region.

This partnership between Fawry and Syrve represents a significant development for the F&B industry in Egypt and the MENA region. It will enable restaurants and other F&B establishments to offer their customers a more streamlined and convenient payment experience, while also enhancing their overall management capabilities.

With the continued growth of the F&B sector in the region, this partnership is poised to deliver significant benefits to both Fawry and Syrve, as well as their customers.
