The Catapult: Inclusion Africa programme is calling for applications for its sixth edition, set to take place from 16 to 20 October 2023. In an exciting development, this year’s edition will be conducted entirely in French for the first time, catering to a wider audience of fintech start-ups across Africa.

Developed by the LHoFT Foundation and supported by the Directorate for Development Cooperation and Humanitarian Action, Catapult: Inclusion Africa aims to foster financial empowerment on the continent while establishing meaningful connections between the continent and Europe. The programme also underscores the alignment of participating initiatives with the sustainability goals of the Luxembourg Financial Centre.

The upcoming edition of Catapult: Inclusion Africa will be hosted in Lomé, the capital of Togo, and will coincide with the African Microfinance Week (AMW), providing participants with exceptional networking opportunities. This convergence of events creates a conducive environment for collaboration and knowledge exchange among industry experts, fintech innovators, and investors.

Over the course of the five-day programme, Catapult: Inclusion Africa will cover a wide range of topics vital to fintech start-ups.

This includes business model mapping, scaling strategies, investability, business plan presentation, legal strategy, pricing, marketing strategy, and more. The selected fintech companies will have the chance to engage with partners, sponsors, investors, as well as Microfinance Institutions (MFI) and Public Financial Institutions (PFI).
