African fintechs vie for $50k prize in Ecobank challenge
The African fintech industry is abuzz with excitement as the grand finale of the 2023 Ecobank Fintech Challenge approaches, set to take place at the Ecobank Pan African Conference Centre in Lomé, Togo, on Friday, 6 October 2023. The event will witness the convergence of leading fintech players, regulators, investors, and industry experts from across Africa.
The grand finale, which will be livestreamed for global participation, aims to crown the winner of the prestigious $50 000 Ecobank Fintech Challenge prize. Out of a staggering 1 490 fintech applicants spanning 64 countries, eight finalists have emerged to compete for the title and the largest no-strings-attached fintech cash award in Africa.
