E Squared Investments

E Squared was founded and launched in 2007, being set up as an Allan Gray BEE partner. We are an impact investor, with a focus on three forms of impact: job creation, value creation and ethical, responsible entrepreneurship.

The intention and rationale behind the founding of E Squared, is to invest in and support entrepreneurial solutions that demonstrate potential to address systemic issues of poverty and inequality in South Africa and after a number of years to capitalize the business, E Squared began its funding activity in 2016 and 2017.

Mission: To empower responsible entrepreneurs to become the catalysts for economic development, transformation and social upliftment in South Africa
