The founding organisation, Daddy’s World, of Daddy.O and Daddy’s Dragons are also behind The Old Biscuit Mill, The Woodstock Exchange, Daddy Long Legs Art Hotel, Old Mac Daddy and Daddy’s Deals.
Daddy’s World co-founder Jody Aufrichtig notes, “Business is our passion, as a group, we have taken lots of risks, tried some crazy new things and learnt some important lessons; the most important one being that entrepreneurs need a network of support.”

“With Daddy.O and Daddy’s Dragons, we are not only providing a physical space to work in, we are also creating a place to bounce ideas, develop good business relationships and tap into the Daddy knowledge-base,” says Aufrichtig.
“We want to build success — to fuel new businesses, create jobs and change our environment. We are very excited about sharing our advice and sharpening the talents of some brave new business leaders.”
As first picked up by CP Africa, Daddy’s World is looking for a pilot group of entrepreneurs from previously disadvantage communities.
Successful applicants will have access to the following perks:
- Full membership at Daddy.O co-working space, providing office infrastructure and a supportive community of like-minded entrepreneurs.
- Participation in the highly rated Crash Course Business Workshop, to help them research, prepare and ultimately present a feasible and viable business plan.
- Participation in the Monthly Boardroom Club, a peer meetup that helps develop accountability and maintain momentum.
- Opportunities to develop as a supplier to the Group
