Entrepreneurs looking to win $100 000 in prize money have until Friday to take part in the first in four quizzes in Econet Group chairman and entrepreneur Strive Masiyiwa’s #GoGettaz competition.
Masiyiwa kicked off the competition, run by his television channel Kwesé Inc, earlier this month. The challenge is currently available at win.kwese.com, Masiywa said in a press release today.
Two entrepreneurs – one male and one female – from anywhere in the world stand a chance to each win a cash prize of $100 000 and a trip to spend two weeks with Masiyiwa’s as “Kwesé Entrepreneur Fellows” at the Kwesé offices in South Africa.
Contestants do not need to run an already-registered business or non-profit to qualify – all they need to have is an ongoing venture, for which they have clear intentions to formally register should they win the grand prize. They can also be working part-time on their venture.

To stand a chance to win the grand prize, contestants will need to successfully complete four quizzes in order to remain in the running.
A new quiz will go up each Friday at 12pm (Central African Time) for the next four weeks. The questions in the quizzes can be answered by visiting Kwesé’s websites (kwese.com, kwese.espn.com, kwesefield.com), downloading the Kwesé App, or reading Masiyiwa’s Facebook posts.
The first quiz is currently live at win.kwese.com and contestants have until this Friday, 1 Setepmber to enter the first of the four quizzes, and be in the running for a chance at what promises to be a life changing experience for the winners.
The last quiz will be posted on Friday, 15 September, and Stage One of the competition will close on Friday 22 September. Entrants must complete the first quiz by the 1 September deadline, to access the three quizzes that follow, and to be eligible for the grand prize.
Contestants with the highest overall scores for all four quizzes will be entered into a prize pool, and 10 deserving contestants will progress to Stage Two of the competition, where they will get a chance to pitch their ventures on video and compete for the grand prize.
