Here’s what Twitter co-founder, CEO Jack Dorsey has been up to so far in his Africa trip

Twitter co-founder and CEO Jack Dorsey will be travelling through Africa this month.

Dorsey announced in a tweet earlier today that he’d completed the Nigeria leg of his trip after landing in the country last Thursday (7 November). It’s not clear where he’s headed next.

Last month he revealed in a tweet that he would be travelling to Ethiopia, Ghana, Nigeria and South Africa throughout November.

He said that during the trip he plans to meet entrepreneurs who include Kudu Ventures co-founder and managing partner Noel Daniel and iCog Labs programme manager Betelhem Dessie.

Here then is what Dorsey has been up to so far.

Last Friday (8 November) Dorsey met with some entrepreneurs at the Co-Creation Hub in Lagos where he had a question and answer session in which he shared his experiences as a tech entrepreneur (see below tweet).

On the same day, Dorsey attended a town hall event held by Nigerian tech publication Techpoint.

He attended the event together with Twitter executives who included Periscope co-founder and CEO Kayvon Beykpour, engineering team lead Michael Montano, Twitter CTO Parag Agrawal, Twitter head of US Sports Partnerships TJ Adeshola.

At the event, QuotedReplies founder Dara Oladosu was offered a role at the company by Beykpour.

On Saturday (9 November) Dorsey met up with some members of Nigeria’s crypto-currency community (see below tweet).
