In an official press statement, MiBrand provides insight into the new developments made for the innovative tech startup.

“We completely rebuilt and redesigned the entire MiBRAND user interface and experience. Our new interface was designed to be lightweight and minimalist with a design focused on the core functionality of the product – browsing and searching deals. The desktop version features a design similar to Google focusing on search. “

Founded in 2016, the local tech startup has developed an innovative aggregation tool that pools together a number of special deals of a range of consumer goods on a single and easy-to-use online platform.

The deals aggregated are sourced from reputable online stores across the country. Developed by Kysal Technologies, the aggregation tool’s engine indexes the best deals on its platform allowing locals to browse and search for various products for free.

It acts as a one-stop-shop making it easier for locals to search for a specific product to find out if it is on special rather than searching tirelessly online. A source button is indicated next to the searched product, allowing users direct access to the online store where they can make the purchase.

Currently, at least 2000 – 5000 deals are featured each day from 15 South African stores.

New features

Some of the new and improved features that the local tech startup has launched include a new and improved user experience interface, a new website interface, and an aggregation engine along with now being available on mobile, tablet, and desktop browsers.

Previously the platform was only available for users in Johannesburg but MiBrand has gone nationwide. New deals are added daily for consumers.
