Sage launches new Sage Business Cloud Marketplace in SA

Sage, a cloud businesses management solutions company has announced the launch of the new  Sage Business Cloud Marketplace in South Africa. The new cloud marketplace will help businesses improve their performance with a curated selection of cloud-native and cloud-connected apps.

 In a press statement, Pieter Bensch, executive vice-president for Africa & Middle East at Sage provides insight into the offering of the new cloud marketplace for local businesses.

The many apps and add-ons on offer from our ISVs and partners enable our customers to access curated capabilities and solutions, including bespoke applications for vertical industries, that can help them grow, all from a single, trusted platform.”

The new Sage Marketplace supports the evolution of Sage partners and independent software vendors (ISVs) and establishes a path to the cloud for ISVs and partners that are not yet deep in the cloud.

It features a dramatically enhanced customer experience, along with better process automation and self-service capabilities for ISVs.

Essentially, the available apps on the marketplace aim to help businesses stay connected and improve their performance. 


With the new Sage Business Cloud Marketplace, businesses will be able to do the following; 

  • Tackle challenges within their business with apps
  • Automate time-consuming tasks
  • Free up valuable time and concentrate on running their business more efficiently
  • Use integrated solutions that offer real-time business insights
  • Make more informed decisions through AI and machine learning capabilities

“The Sage Business Cloud Marketplace offers our customers access to our whole ecosystem, giving them easy access to tools and functionality that drive productivity and efficiency. It is also a strategic toolkit for Sage accountants and resellers wanting to help their customers increase their business performance,” adds Bensch

According to Sage, listed on the Sage Marketplace in South Africa are leading apps such as Stock2Shop’s eCommerce connectors, AutoEntry and BriskFlow. 

The new Sage Marketplace strengthens the value of products and services within the Sage Business Cloud for customers, with an array of integrated apps. 

These solutions simplify business processes, helping customers grow through richer insights and elevated automation.

Aziz Benmalek, executive vice-president, global partner organization at Sage explains that the new cloud marketplace connects innovative app creators with local businesses.
