Valenture Institute partners with leading education institutions to provide fully-supported online high school programs. The company’s mission is to create aspirational learning opportunities for high school students, empowering them to choose the doors they open.

Founder and chief executive Robert Paddock said, “We are honoured to be selected as a global 150 GSV innovator and have our tireless work recognised by the global edtech community.”

Valenture Institute’s proprietary learning technology, analytics, and learner support model is at the forefront of online education. It empowers learners with the skills they need to flourish in an increasingly digital world by equipping teachers and parents with state-of-the-art technology.

The GSV 150 list recognises the most transformative private companies in digital learning and workforce skills. These 150 companies are at the forefront of innovation and are constantly evolving to meet the needs of learners, educators, and companies around the world. Together, these companies reach roughly 3 billion people, almost half of the global population, and generate approximately $25 billion in revenue.

Valenture Institute’s inclusion on the GSV 150 list highlights the company’s commitment to providing equitable access to high-quality education to learners worldwide. The company partners with the world’s leading education institutions to evolve what it means to “go” to school, transforming physical limitations into digital education opportunities.

Its focus on creating aspirational learning opportunities for high school students positions the company as a leading edtech in the global education market. As more learners turn to online education, its innovative approach to online learning is set to revolutionise the way learners approach high school education.

According to Alexandra Argo, investor at GSV Ventures, “This impressive group of companies continues to grow and evolve to meet the needs of learners and businesses at scale.”

The final selection of 150 companies was determined by GSV’s proprietary scoring system based on various KPIs, including revenue scale, revenue growth, active learner reach, international reach, and margin profile.

Valenture Institute, co-founded in 2019 by Paddock and COO Amy Johnson, is one of the companies on the list. Its mission is to create aspirational learning opportunities for high school students and empower their school and university partners with tools for success.

In May 2021, Valenture Institute’s partner, UCT Online High School, was recognised as one of the top innovators in Africa at the World Economic Forum’s Sustainable Development Impact Summit.

Paddock said, “At Valenture Institute, we believe in creating learning opportunities that empower students to open the doors they choose, not the ones they are forced to. Our goal is to enable our partner schools to make an impact and attain student outcomes at scale.”

Valenture Institute brings a depth of expertise in learning design, robust learning technology, sophisticated learning analytics, and excellent support services to their partners. The company’s focus on providing students with a personalised and aspirational learning experience has enabled them to make a significant impact in the field of digital learning.
