Here’s who’s pitching at this afternoon’s Seedstars Praia

Swiss emerging market startup competition Seedstars World has named the nine Cape Verde startups that will pitch today at Seedstars Praia.

The event kicks off at 3pm (local time) at Caixa Auditorium at the Savings Bank of Cape Verde in Praia.

Besides representing Cape Verde at the Seedstars Africa Summit, the winner will win an all-inclusive trip to the Seedstars Africa Summit and the chance to win a spot at the Seedstars Global Summit in Switzerland in April next year where the winner will take home a 500K USD investment prize.

The Seedstars Praia winner will represent Cape Verde at the Seedstars Africa regional summit

The nine startups are:

  • Bonako Games Arena: The startup enables African developers to monetise their games and is growing a gaming community where gamers and producers can interact.
  • ENF24: Home care health service provider
  • Medsabia: Develops software for the healthcare sector
  • MGO Consulting: This startup has developed a multi-vendor cloud-based virtual reality (VR) headset management platform that aims to drive VR into enterprise.
  • NhaBex: Queue monitoring solution that notifies users when their turn is approaching
  • NubianPRO Doctor+: On-demand health service aimed at patients with reduced mobility
  • One Group Ida: Has developed Help Her, a web platform that aims to protect women and girls victims of violence with real-time, fast and efficient response
  • Passafree: Mobile application that allows the promotion, sale and purchase of tickets for various events in Cape Verde
  • Resermar CV Reservas Online: Integrated platform of approved maritime transport services in Cape Verde

The startups will pitch in front of a jury that consists of PD Consult CEO Paulino Dias, CEO, Unitel T+ CEO Inoweze Ferreira and Caixa Económica CEO António Moreira.
