Property Handle, Bitkesh named runners up

Eight other startups were selected to pitch at the event that was held last Saturday (27 October) at Impact Hub Harare.

Property Handle, a proptech startup which allows for real estate assets and projects to be tokenised so that they can be funded for fractional ownership, was placed second.

Bitkesh, an online platform that enables people to send money and make payments across borders from their phones or computers, was placed third.

The other startups selected to pitch at the event include The Housing Hub, AsambleInc, Rejuvenate Umhlaba, Eonra Health, Divcon Business Solutions and Kumba Africa.

The nine startups pitched in front of a panel comprised of UNDP Zimbabwe national economist Ethel Bangwayo, Heritage Ventures’ Mkhululi Ndlovu and Seedstars regional partnerships manager for Africa Maryam Mgonja.

Seedstars World’s next stops in Africa are Mozambique for Seedstars Maputo, this Friday (1 November) and Zambia for Seedstars Lusaka next Thursday (7 November).
